Ella Robertson, the managing director of One Young World, offers a wealth of insight into what
attendees can expect. According to Robertson, the summit is more than a
congregation; it is a transformative platform that accelerates social impact
through the exchange of ideas and fostering of leadership. “The value and
excitement of thousands of young people being there with some incredibly famous
world leaders is something truly special,” Robertson remarked.

reach. Past speakers have included the likes of Meghan Markle and Kofi Annan,
making it a celebrated event for young leaders to garner wisdom from experienced

participation. “About a third of our attendees attend on fully funded
scholarships, so they don’t pay for their flights, their visa, anything,”
she explained. This commitment aims to increase scholarship participation to
50% by 2030, ensuring a diverse and inclusive environment. 

The Montreal Convention Centre, known for its eco-friendly operations, will be the main
venue. This choice underscores One Young World’s dedication to sustainability,
aligning with global efforts to combat climate change.
